If you’re a car mechanic, you know that brake fluid is a vital part of your work. Without brake fluid, your car won’t start and you’ll have to go out and buy new brakes. But how do you drain brake fluid from a car? Here’s how:

  1. Open the hood of the car and remove the battery cover.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the car.
  3. Remove the two screws that hold the upper part of the brake pedal assembly in place.
  4. Lift off the pedal assembly and discard it in a nearby trash can or recycling bin.
  5. Pour some brake fluid into each of two cups that are located on either side of the pedal assembly (if your car has them).
  6. Place one cup on top of each other so that they form a seal around the circumference of your Brake Fluid Simulator 2021 (BFS 2021).
  7. Put your hand over one cup and use your other hand to push down on top of it so that it forms a seal around both cups (you should now be able to see liquid Brake Fluid inside both cups).
  8. Put your other hand over top of cup 1 and use your fingers to twist it until it pops off (you should now see liquid Brake Fluid coming out of cup 1). Pour some more Brake Fluid into each cup if necessary (you should now have three cups with liquid Brake Fluid inside them).
