If you’re like most people, you probably have a few games on your PlayStation 4 that you just can’t seem to get rid of. Whether they’re from your backlog or from when you were last able to play them, there’s a good chance that they’re stored on your PlayStation 4’s internal hard drive. But if you want to move these games to an external hard drive so that you can continue playing them even if the console is lost or stolen, there are a few things that you need to know. First and foremost, make sure that the game files are in a format that PS4 can understand. This means that they must be in .iso or .pkg format. If the game files are not in this format, PS4 will not be able to play them. Next, make sure that the external hard drive is formatted with FAT32 or FAT64. This will allow PS4 to recognize the game files as well as store them on the drive in an easily accessible location. Finally, make sure that your computer is up and running with enough space available for the game files and forPS4 itself. Once all of these things are in place, go ahead and start playing your favorite games!
