Xbox 360 hard drive is a great place to store your music. However, if you want to move your music to the Xbox 360 hard drive, you will need to do some research first. Here are some tips on how to transfer music from your computer to the Xbox 360 hard drive:

  1. Make sure that your computer and Xbox 360 are both connected.
  2. Copy the entire contents of your computer’s hard drive (except for the Microsoft Windows operating system) to the Xbox 360 hard drive.
  3. Launch Microsoft Windows Explorer and browse to the location where you copied the files to be sure that they are correctly placed.
  4. Double-click on one of the files in Explorer and it will open in a new window with all of its associated information (including file permissions). If everything looks correct, click on OK and close Explorer. If not, please follow these steps: a) Click on Manage Files and Preferences in Explorer’s main window and then click on Change Permissions in the resulting dialog box; b) In the new permissions dialog box, change All Users access permission for each file so that only you can access them; c) Close Explorer; d) reopened Explorer, double-click on one of the files again and it will open in a new window with all of its associated information (including file permissions). If everything looks correct, click on OK and close Explorer again; e) Click on Properties in this new window and then click on Readonly under General tab; f) Tick boxes next to each file name so that they are set as read-only by default; g) Close both windows; h) Your music will be stored successfully on your Xbox 360 hard drive!
